Paff Qs

Cannabis advocacy is often on the defensive, talking about how it’s not as bad as opponents make it out to be, but we believe in highlighting what people actually enjoy about getting high and how weed can enrich their lives. In our series Paff Qs we talk to friends, collaborators and people we admire about moments of joy with weed.

1) What was one of your favorite places where you've ever smoked weed?

At Christmas in my parents' house, in my childhood bedroom. When I lived there, I didn't smoke yet. Returning as an adult, self-determined person and bonding with my siblings over a joint felt somehow wholesome.
P.S.: My mom caught us, but we're adults now :)

2) You have a day off in your city and can do whatever you want while stoned. What do you do?

Go biking with friends through the forest trails to the lake. Splashing around on an air mattress, snacking on watermelon, smoking, chatting, being silent & enjoying. If we're lucky, a cute dog might pass by that we can watch. Otherwise, just people-watching.

3) What tip would you give to curious and new stoners about smoking weed?

Don’t mix and match on the first time. If you’re curious, give it a try - in a familiar environment, with nice people, without other substances. It might be that the first time feels strange, and the second is much better. That's just how it is...

4) What kind of entertainment do you particularly enjoy while smoking weed?

From political podcasts to classic series, video games, trash TV, and kids' movies... it completely depends on how stoned I am and what the mood is like. Everything is better with a projector, 10/10.

5) Show us your rolling kit and share something about it if you like OR show us a self-rolled joint.
